Meet our Therapists

dR. Lacey bagley, LMFT

Hi! My name is Dr. Lacey and my pronouns are she/her.

I’m originally from northern Minnesota and have lived in Idaho, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and now Utah. I earned my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern Mississippi in 2018 and I earned my Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University in 2021.

I am a bisexual, polyamorous, cisgender woman and I love to CELEBRATE my queer community! My goal as a therapist is to help clients find healing from within to become empowered to make changes in their external world. My approach includes an element of play and/or art, to help clients have new emotional experiences through the therapeutic approaches of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

My spouse, Evan, and I have been married for 15 years and are raising our sweet children, Dax & Lily, dachshund mix Pepper, golden doodle Vanellope and ornate wood turtle Gamera. I exuberantly enjoy being in the water (swimming, kayaking and canoeing), playing DND with my friends, reading books about therapy, and writing poetry.

For more information and LGBTQIA+ resources, check out my website: www.laceybagleymft.com.

Maeve hutchins, Student intern

Hi there! My name is Maeve and my pronouns are she/her.

I am so excited to meet you! I am an MFT intern in my second year of graduate school. I am passionate about the LGBTQIA+ community and I would be honored to work alongside you to help you create your best, thriving queer life!

In everything I do I try to lead with love and empathy. I was born and raised queer-accepting and I don't know any other way to be. I am especially interested in the Mormon+Queer intersection after living in Utah and seeing the unique experiences of humans navigating this tricky gray area. I am well-versed in LDS doctrine and culture as well as LGBTQIA+ issues, so I am hoping I can finally be a therapist you don’t have to “explain” yourself to. Come as you are and know that I accept you for YOU, however you identify and practice.

I identify as cisgender, bisexual, and neurodivergent. I am enthusiastically sex positive and body positive! Additionally, I am committed to a lifelong educational journey about matters of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I hope to use my privilege to gently inform others and fight against injustice however I am able.

I live a cozy, boring little life with my husband and two cats, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! In my free time I enjoy playing videogames and board games, cooking tasty food, and re-watching all 12 seasons of Bones. I have a dream of running a rabbit rescue with my husband one day and generally adopting as many animals as possible.
